Healthy Fried Rice
3 cups prepared brown rice
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp oil
- dash of basil, parsley, garlic powder, celery seed, salt
- 1/2 tsp dried onion flakes
10 carrots; cut in half length wise and then chopped
Small ham dices

1/2 zucchini cut into small diced cubes
1/4 yellow onion minced
1 tsp minced garlic
small wedge of purple cabbage chopped into 2 inch slices
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup frozen corn
1 tbs or so canola oil
1 tsp sesame oil
heat canola oil in a large frying pan and saute onion, garlic and carrots until carrots start to become soft. add ham, sesame oil and cabbage and continue to cook until it starts to become soft then add the zucchini, peas and corn. Cook stirring freaquently for about 2 minutes before adding rice. Saute for about 2 more minutes then reduce heat to low and cover until ready to serve.
