Hills and Valleys

This is one of Kyle's favorite breakfast recipes, Hills and Valleys otherwise known as German Pancakes. Simple and delicious this recipe makes for an easy Sunday morning breakfast or even a quick and easy dinner!

Hills and Valleys

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup half and half (or regular milk if you already have it) 
  • 1 cup all purpose flour 
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs butter; melted in a 9X13 baking dish
Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together either in a blender or large bowl with a hand mixer. Put 2 tablespoons of butter in a 9X13 baking dish and place in the oven until butter is melted and just barely starting to bubble then pour batter into the pan. Bake for about 20 minutes or until your "hills and valleys" have formed are are golden brown. Sprinkle with whatever you like, cinnamon/sugar, powdered sugar, syrup, or even serve with mixed fruit.
